Sales Promotion Section
 Domestic sales
To increase the numbers of visitors, we delvelop PR activities in the metropolitan area.
We also organize familiarization trips for major travel agencies and business talks with related suppliers.


 Overseas sales
According to the "Visit Japan Campaign", we are widely promoting Yokohama as an attractive destination, targeting primarily Taiwan, China and Korea, by attending trade shows and organizing familiarization trips for overseas travel agencies and media.

 Tourism promotion
The Yokohama Goodwill Ambassadors, serving as cultural liaisons have been chosen every year to represent the city.
We support events and festivals with the cooperation of related organizations.
"Yokohama 001" is the brand of high quality goods, which are the best as a souvenir. We support its secretariat, The Yokohama Goods Promotion Association.


 Visitor support
We run tourist information centers and publish various kinds of printed materials in cooperation with private sectors.

 Convention
We offer a variety of services to convention organizers and participants for successful meetings. We participate in major tradeshows and positively approach to international organizations and meeting planners.

 Yokohama Tourism Promotion Forum
The forum started in 2003 to promote tourism in Yokohama and support creating enterprises mainly operated by private sectors.

 Yokohama Theme-typed Monthly Promotion
By setting specific period and unified theme, we support planning and having events by the related business partners. e.g. Yokohama France Month (in June), Yokohama Brlliant Way (from December to February)

 Yokohama Grand Museum
In accordance with the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Port of Yokohama, we liaise with museums, galleries and archives in the city and neighborhood to promote their activities.
