Azamino Contemporary vol.2 Viewpoints: Drawing and Painting

2012_02_04.jpg Azamino Contemporary is a series of exhibits that introduce art that are currently developing, focusing on expressions of various genre of artists instead of category or opinions of the larger society.
Following the last year's exhibit, the second exhibit this year will exhibit new works under the theme of 'painting' by new blood of four young artists.
Yusuke Asai, his non-stopping strokes in free form fill the screen; Chihiro Kabata, who repeats uncovering herself through painting; Toru Kuwakubo, who paints an imagery scenery like searching through his memories and thoughts; and Kana Yoshida, who paints like curving the experience of being in nature.
They are all artists that carefully pick their senses through painting and create their own world.
Stand at a point where they see the world-viewpoint, and see what are behind the lines and colors.
